In December of 2018, the Indiana Crossroads Conference lost a truly student-driven and inspirational leader.  Matt English, the then Athletic Director and Boys Basketball Coach at Beech Grove High School, lost a long and arduous battle with brain cancer.  Matt battled his disease with an incredible amount of ferocity and strength, exemplary of how he lived, coached, and led.

Coach English's mantra of WeB4Me was an expectation he placed upon himself and others under his guidance.  His feeling was that no individual is more important than the good of the team, and that the team is always the focus.  He constantly modeled effective leadership that was selfless and sincere in its' approach.

To honor the memory of Coach English and the positive impact he had on those that crossed his path, the Indiana Crossroads Conference has established the WeB4Me Award.  Its' purpose is to recognize a person from a member school who exemplifies Matt's approach towards serving others by selflessly and continuously supporting an athletic department, with no expectation of fanfare or recognition.

Below are the winners of the award to date.  Congratulations, and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the athletes, coaches, and fans of the Indiana Crossroads Conference.
